VI. Legal Status and Rights of the Association

  1. The Association is a legal entity from the moment of its state registration, has its own balance, account (accounts) in banks, circular seal with its full name, stamp, letterhead, logo and other details, which are approved by the Executive Board of the Association and registered under the law.

  2. In order to fulfill the statutory objectives and objects, the Association is entitled to conduct necessary commercial activity without intent to profit, as well as commercial and other economic activity by means of establishment of self-financing institutions and organizations in the manner prescribed by law.

  3. The Association is not responsible for the obligations of the state and formed by the state enterprises, institutions and organizations, as well as the state and formed by the state enterprises, institutions and organizations are not liable for the obligations of the Association.

  4. To achieve the objective and objects, the Association has any prescribed by the legislation of Ukraine and this Charter rights, including, but not exclusively, the rights to:

    1) enter on its behalf into contracts and agreements, to acquire property and personal non-property rights, to incur obligations, to sue and be sued in the courts, to represent and protect the legitimate interests of its Members in government and public bodies, to promote the legal protection of Members of the Association on issues, related to its activity, with the help of engaged lawyers, consultants and other professionals;

    2) join as a member any associations, as well as to provide organizational and financial support to other NGOs;

    3) petition the state and local authorities and other natural persons and legal entities and to obtain the necessary information to implement its statutory objective and objects;

    4) cooperate with Ukrainian and foreign professional, legal, charitable, trade-related and other organizations and individuals.
